Step 1 - View items for sale
The first step to buying an item is to carefully view the classified ad. Carefully read the item’s description and view the photos online. If you are purchasing a vehicle, find out the age, mileage, condition, color and finish before scheduling an appointment. Make sure the vehicle or item has not been damaged in a flood, fire or accident. Study the ad and make sure the item is something you need or want. Negotiate only after you have viewed the item in person and determined it’s condition. Determine if the item carries a warranty of any type.
